Destination Covered:Delhi - Chandigarh - Anandapur Sahib - Amritsar - Tarn Taran - Gobindwal – Hazoor Sahib
Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi Arrive Delhi and get transferred to the hotel. Visit Gurudwara Sisganj in the afternoon. Also go to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Gurudwara Rakabganj. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Chandigarh - Parivar Vichhora - Anandpur Sahib Drive towards Chandigarh and check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit at Parivar Vichorra followed by a trip to Anandpur Sahib; visit the fortress temple made by the ninth guru Guru Teg Bahadur on the bank of the river Satluj. Return to Chandigarh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Chandigarh - Amritsar Visit the Museum, High Court, Assembly Chamber and Rock Garden in the morning sightseeing tour of Chandigarh. An afternoon drive takes you to Amritsar. The 400 years old city renowned for its Golden Temple was founded by the fourth guru of the Sikhs, Guru Ramdas, Check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Amritsar - Tarn Taran - Gobindwal - Hazoor Sahib - Amritsar Morning excursion of Tarn Taran famous for a Gurudwara built in honour of Guru Arjun Dev. Have an excursion to Gobindwal near Tarn Taran, closely associated with Guru Amardas. Reach Hazoor Sahib known for the Samadhi ( memorial ) of Guru Angad Devji built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1815. Return to Amritsar and visit the Golden Temple/Darbar Sahib/Har Mandir Sahib. Adjoining the pool is Akal Takht set up by the sixth Sikh guru, Guru Hargobind Singh. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Amritsar In the morning visit Jalianwala Bagh, a memoir dedicated to the martyrs who were massacred by the British General Michael Dyer on April 13, 1919. Proceed to Baba Bakala, a place associated with the ninth Sikh guru, Shri Tegh Bahadur, to visit the Gurudwara thronged by the pilgrims on every Amavas. Return to Amritsar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Amritsar- Delhi Board a train for New Delhi from Amritsar railway station. On arrival check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Departure Spend the half day in sightseeing tour visiting Red Fort, India Gate and Quatab Minar built in red sand stone in Islamic style. Check out at noon. Depart from the airport for your onward journey.
